Location: Online. Zoom connection information will be sent out before the workshop.
Synchronous Workshop Time: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM MST
Audience: UNM instructors who teach General Education Area 1 & Area 5 courses.
Registration & Compensation: This workshop is limited to 20 participants. In the event that the workshop fills, we will maintain a waitlist. Upon completion of the workshop training, participants will be compensated at $100 per workshop through our Information Literacy Fellows Award. More award details will be forthcoming.
Workshop Description
This workshop series and scholarship aims to better integrate information literacy into the UNM General Education undergraduate curriculum. Each workshop focuses on unpacking one dimension from the New Mexico General Education IDL Essential Skill. In this workshop, we will focus on two big information literacy concepts: authority and value of information.
Participants will commit four hours; two-hours of synchronous plus two-hours of asynchronous training.
