[Virtual] Reality Bites Preview: Travel the World for International Education Week In-Person

Join us at this drop-in preview event to get a taste of world travel through Virtual Reality (VR*)! The UNM Libraries team will have 6 cordless Oculus Go VR headsets on hand for attendees to demo immersive 360° travel experiences. Stop by any time. This event is a preview for the interactive follow-up workshop in Centennial Library on Wednesday, November 20 (3-5pm), where attendees will learn how to use the Google Earth VR app to virtually explore the world. VR is a great way to get a sense of a new place before you travel, revisit old haunts, or simply fuel your wanderlust!

*Virtual Reality (VR) is a computer-generated experience in a 3D simulated environment. Users can interact with 3D videos and applications through the use of a VR headset and hand controls.
