NMOER Event: Finding and Evaluating Resources

NMOER Event: Finding and Evaluating Resources Online

Ready to explore giving your course an “open” makeover, but don’t know where to start? This workshop is aimed at helping NM educators find free, open, high-quality resources to use in their classes. We will cover evaluation criteria for OER, and we will tour popular OER destinations such as OER Commons, the Open Textbook Library, and LibreTexts. Be prepared to learn some of the most widely used and well-respected tools for identifying learning materials your students can access at no cost. The session will also include search tips on how to get the most out of these sites.
