Learning Lagniappe: Story Circles In-Person
Used in community development settings from rural theater troupes to large universities, Story Circles are highly structured events where people sit in a circle and tell a personal story based on a prompt. In this lagniappe, we'll go over the best practices for facilitating Story Circles and then participate in one together.
Story Circles work best in smaller groups, so this lagniappe will be limited to 12 people. If you're interested but can't make the full two-hour session, reach out to Adrienne (adriennew@unm.edu) to find an alternative time to chat about this simple, but powerful technique.
