SciFi BLAST-OFF: Book Discussion In-Person

Reconnect with other Lobos and science fiction fans! The library will host an online group book discussion of Sarah Pinsker’s Sooner or Later Everything Falls into the Sea. In this collection of science fiction short stories, the award-winning author uses lyrical and humorous tales to explore themes such as technology, time travel, space exploration, music, and memory. We’re excited to hear your thoughts about it! You can check out the digital version of the book in the library's catalog.

Good news, everyone! If you don't have time to read the whole book, we'll plan to focus our discussion on just THREE (3!) SHORT stories. If you can only read one of the three, you're still welcome! If you can read all the stories, great! The selected stories include:

  1. "Sooner or Later Everything Falls into the Sea"
  2. "Our Lady of the Open Road"
  3. "And Then There Were (N-One)"

Registration with a UNM email address is required. After you register, you will receive an email with Zoom log-in information and other details.
