[Virtual] Reality Bites: Learn Chemistry in VR In-Person

Are you looking for a new way to learn chemistry or curious about cutting-edge technological tools?  Learn about how to use the virtual reality (VR)* app Nanome to build molecular structures, explore a strand of DNA, or view medicine at a molecular level. Virtually manipulate chemicals and proteins as you explore chemistry and nanotechnology from a new angle. UNM Department of Chemistry & Chemical Biology Assistant Professor Yi He will join us to discuss how he is using VR 360 videos to help visualize his research, with the goal to help inform the development of drugs to treat diseases. Registration is encouraged to let us know you're interested in the event, but feel free to drop-in any time during the program. No experience necessary, all are welcome!

*Virtual Reality (VR) is a computer-generated experience in a 3D simulated environment. Users can interact with 3D videos and applications through the use of a VR headset and hand controls.
